Testimonials
Doing Pilates with Gwynne fulfilled my hopes for greater strength and flexibility, body toning and –especially—abdominal (and bottom) conditioning. I continued working with her through my pregnancy, as Gwynne carefully modified our routines to my changing conditions. I was amazed by how well I recovered from my (surprise) C-section, which I can only attribute to the abdominal work we had been doing. My confidence in Gwynne’s abilities led me to become her student in Alexander technique as well, and I have been gratified by my improved physical appearance and well-being. Gwynne is talented, knowledgeable, skilled and disciplined, but also simply pleasant and fun to work with. She can give you my phone # if you’d like. —LSK, Morningside Heights.
I've hated every kind of exercise I've ever tried, until Pilates -- after only four sessions, I was noticeably stronger, more flexible, and somehow sleeker. And Gwynne is a joy: a true professional, knowledgeable about physiology and movement (as well as mind-body connections and nutrition), and such a pleasant and encouraging coach that you actually look forward to even the earliest morning session. -- B.N.
